Leveraging SA360 bidding strategies to increase sales and efficiency

How better understanding of CPA performance data, combined with an SA360 bid strategy, helped boost conversions by 36% for Getty Images


The challenge
In a niche market, stock imagery company Getty Images wanted to drive efficiency in its paid media activity - in order to boost conversions, whilst keeping cost-per-action (CPA) down.

The approach
We reviewed performance data from a six-month period in order to understand and implement the most appropriate CPA target. An SA360 bid strategy was implemented as a result, and applied to all non-brand keyword groups.

The results
The chosen bid strategy resulted in a 36% increase in conversion volumes, along with a 25% reduction in CPA.
